Don't kid yourself.

The lack of Iranian response has Trump already talking regime change. If the provocations don't get the desired response, just keep hitting harder until you get what you want. It's a no-lose option from the neocon perspective.

Anyway, we heard similar cope following Trump's attacks on Syria. Eventually, the neocons got the failed state that they were seeking.

Iran is also to blame for the fall of Syria. The pro-Western factions want to get out of the proxy business in order to get sanctions relief. As soon as all that Syrian AD got taken out, and air campaign against Iran was inevitable. But regime change is not going to be easy, the more Israel attacks, the more cohesive the society becomes.

The Iranian leadership is foolish and indecisive. They should have done whatever it takes to get The Bomb a long time ago.

Anyway, air attacks worked in Libya, which now is a failed state.

I haven't heard anything about an American attack on Iran today. There is a report from Israel saying four US jets took off from Saudi Arabia to attack Iran but I seriously doubt that is true. Iran has not attacked Saudi Arabia, while one of the key aims of the US / Israel couple is to reignite the flames of hate between the Saudis and the Iranians.
